The Activity tab on a jobcard shows a running log of everything that has happened to it — status changes, edits, and who made them. It's the first place to check if you need to know what changed, or when.
Viewing the activity feed
Open any jobcard and click the Activity tab. You'll see a timeline of events in reverse chronological order, each stamped with the user and the time.
Events recorded include:
- Status changes (for example, moving from Awaiting Parts to In Progress)
- Edits to jobcard details (title, appointment date, assigned technician)
- Jobs added or removed
Who can see it
The Activity tab is gated by the activity.view permission; by default that's Owner, Manager, and Reception. Technicians don't have it — they see the jobs assigned to them, not the audit trail behind the jobcard.
