Does Pistonlog offer a free trial?
Start your workshop's first monthly Essentials or Pro subscription during setup to get 3 days free. A card is required at checkout, and billing starts automatically after the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Annual plans do not include a free trial. Your first plan payment is also covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee, measured from that payment. You can book a demonstration before subscribing.
How does the pricing work?
Pistonlog Essentials costs £99 per month or £950 per year. Pro costs £179 per month or £1,720 per year. Prices exclude VAT and are per workshop in GBP, with unlimited users on both plans. Annual subscriptions are paid upfront. Automatic reminders require Pro or Group. SMS uses separately purchased credits; email reminders are free.
Is there a contract or can I cancel anytime?
You can cancel a monthly Pistonlog subscription at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Annual subscriptions are paid upfront for a full year.
How many users can I add?
Unlimited. Add your whole team, including owners, managers, receptionists and technicians, at no extra cost. You choose what each person can see and do.
Can I manage multiple workshop locations?
Yes. Each location needs its own subscription, but you can manage them all from one account. Group plans let you see reports across all your sites.
How do credits work for automated reminders?
SMS reminders, including MOT, service, follow-up and Google review requests, use credits. Email reminders are free. Credits cost between 7p and 10p each depending on how many you buy, and you can top up anytime in the app.
Can you help us move from our current system?
Pistonlog's CSV import brings across customer and vehicle records, with a preview before saving. Historical job cards, invoices and inspection records are not imported. Keep access to those records in your previous system. Contact us for help planning the switch.
