When a customer brings a vehicle back, you don't have to dig through past jobcards to find what was inspected last time. The Inspector Panel has a Vehicle tab that lists previous inspection submissions for the current vehicle, with a 13-month cutoff by default.
What you see
For each previous submission:
- Template name
- Date completed
- Technician who filled it in
- An overall status badge derived from the worst non-N/A item (Failure > Advisory > Acceptable)
Expanding a row
Click a row to expand it inline in the panel — every field and the value the technician recorded appears below the header. No need to navigate away to the source jobcard; the full inspection content shows in place.
Why 13 months
Long enough to cover annual events like MOT, short enough that the list doesn't get unwieldy. If a vehicle has no inspections in the last 13 months, the panel shows a View all button that loads everything for that vehicle regardless of age. (When there's at least one result in the window, the button doesn't currently appear — to see older inspections you'd need to navigate to the originating jobcard.)
Cross-jobcard
Previous inspections are surfaced regardless of which jobcard they were originally attached to. The lens is the vehicle, not the visit.
