Workflow sort orders

Order cards within columns by booking date, created, updated, customer, or registration

The workflow board's columns can sort their cards in different ways depending on what your team's looking for. The sort applies across all columns simultaneously and is stored per-device in your browser, so each user can pick their own without affecting the others.

The sort options

Sort byWhat it does
Booking dateEarliest appointments first. Most useful for "what's next?"
Created dateNewest jobcards first. Good for spotting recent walk-ins.
Updated dateMost-recently-touched first. Shows live activity.
Customer nameAlphabetical, A-Z
Vehicle registrationAlphabetical by plate

Changing the sort

The dropdown at the top-right of the workflow board switches the sort. Your choice persists for that device — switch browser or device and the default applies again.

Per-device, not per-user

This is browser-local storage, not a server-side preference. If you swap to a different machine the sort resets to the default. (Future change: may move to a per-user setting.)
