Pistonlog has three plans: Basic, Pro, and Enterprise. The big decisions to make are (a) whether you want the Inspections module and automatic reminders, and (b) whether you're running one workshop or many. Every plan includes unlimited users — pricing is per workshop, not per seat.
Pick Basic if
- You're a smaller workshop that does mostly mechanical work
- You don't need digital vehicle inspections
- You don't need automatic MOT and service reminders
- £99/month (or £950/year) is the right entry point
Pick Pro if
- You want the Inspections module — form builder, 22 field types, photo and video evidence, vehicle inspection history
- You want automatic reminders for MOT, service and timing belts, firing without you lifting a finger
- You want the technician-on-mobile flow tied to digital inspections
Pick Enterprise if
- You run multiple sites under one company
- You want custom integrations
- You want a dedicated account manager
What's the same in every plan
Everything outside the lists above — jobcards, customers, vehicles, invoicing and payments, messages, reviews, mobile app, and unlimited users. The plan you pick controls a small set of advanced features, not the core product. There's also a Lifetime option on the in-app billing page: £1,000 one-time for everything in Pro with no recurring fees.
Can I switch later?
Yes, both ways. Upgrade Basic → Pro and the inspections module + automatic reminders unlock immediately. Downgrade and existing data (inspections you've already run, reminder logs) stays in your records — only new actions inside paywalled features are blocked.
