Plans and pricing

Pistonlog ships in two plans — Base and Inspections. What each one includes, and what hits the paywall

Owner

Pistonlog ships in three plans: Basic, Pro, and Enterprise. Pricing is per workshop — there are no per-seat add-ons. You pick one per workshop at signup and can switch from billing at any time. Every plan includes unlimited users.

Multi-site management

The two upgrade triggers when moving Basic → Pro are the Inspections module (form builder, 22 field types, submissions, vehicle history, mobile inspection flow) and automatic reminders (the daily cron that fires MOT/service reminders without you doing anything).

Pricing today

Per the public pricing page:

  • Basic — £99/month (£950/year, saving 20%)
  • Pro — £179/month (£1,720/year, saving 20%)
  • Enterprise — custom pricing (contact us) — multi-site features, dedicated account management
  • Lifetime — £1,000 one-time, everything in Pro, no recurring fees (offered on the in-app billing page)

Pricing is per workshop, not per seat — adding a team member doesn't change your bill.

The paywall

Click into something inspections-related (or set up an automatic reminder template) on Basic and Pistonlog shows a paywall explaining what's on Pro and offering an upgrade. Switching plans takes effect immediately via Stripe — no contract renewal needed.

Inspections plan badge

Articles that require Pro or Enterprise for the inspections module carry a "Requires Inspections plan" pill at the top.

SMS credits

SMS credits aren't part of any plan — they're consumable, bought separately. See SMS credits billing.
