Send a customer feedback request

The Reviews page only offers jobcards that have reached a completed status, which is the point of the whole thing: the customer has a fresh experience to rate. Move the jobcard to your completion status first. Sending needs the jobcards edit permission, so Reception and Technicians can do this too.

Go to Reviews in the sidebar. Under Send Feedback Requests, find the completed jobcard and click SMS or Email. SMS costs 1 credit per 160 characters of the sent message, and the composer caps what you can type so a request stays within 2 credits; email is free. A greyed-out button means that customer has no phone or email, or has that channel switched off in their contact preferences.

The message body comes from your review settings template, with {customer_name} and {garage_name} filled in. You can edit the body for this one customer. On SMS the review link is appended automatically so it can't be deleted by accident, and emoji are stripped as you type; on email the link is a Leave Your Feedback button under your message.

The customer receives the message with a link to your public feedback page. The page carries your garage's name and asks for a star rating (and, for lower ratings, an optional comment).

Responses show up in your Reviews list. You can see who left what, when, and if they left a written comment. Until the customer replies there's nothing to see there; the jobcard just shows a Sent badge.
