The Calendar view is your at-a-glance picture of bookings. Every appointment from every jobcard appears on it, with the vehicle plate visible on the card and the customer name in the hover tooltip. Each appointment can carry its own colour (set when creating the appointment); if no colour is picked, the card uses a default blue (estimates show in grey).

What's on each card
- Title (the linked job or jobcard title, or the appointment's own title)
- Vehicle registration
- Appointment colour (set when creating the appointment; default blue if unset)
- Time of day (if you set one)
Hover a card for the full details: customer, vehicle, jobcard reference, and notes.
Clicking a booking
Click a card and the Inspector panel slides open beside the calendar with that jobcard loaded, so you can read it, change its status, or add a note without leaving the calendar. A standalone appointment that isn't attached to a jobcard has nothing to open, so clicking it does nothing.
Clicking empty space is how you book something in. In Month view you get the day you clicked, pre-filled with that day's working hours. In Week or Day view you get the time slot you clicked, with the end time set an hour later. Either way, a chooser asks whether you want a new appointment or a new jobcard.
The calendar is read-only for rescheduling
You can't drag a booking to a new slot on the calendar. To move an appointment, open its jobcard and use the pencil icon on the Appointments tab. See Creating an appointment.
Who sees what
Seeing bookings needs the appointments.view permission, which technicians don't have by default. The Calendar link still appears in their sidebar, so a technician who clicks it lands on a working but completely empty calendar rather than a "no access" message.
Working hours
The calendar respects your garage's working hours. Days marked as closed are shaded so they don't look like normal working days.
Per garage
The calendar is per garage. If you run multiple garages, switch garage from the sidebar to see that garage's calendar.
