An appointment is the scheduled drop-off slot for a jobcard. It tells your team when the vehicle is expected and feeds the workshop calendar so you can see capacity at a glance.

What appointments do

  • Schedule a vehicle in — pick a date and time on a jobcard
  • Surface in the calendar — every garage has its own calendar view
  • Send confirmations — a branded email with the date, time, vehicle and jobcard reference
  • Respect working hours — your garage's working hours cap what slots are bookable

Two ways to confirm a customer

When you set an appointment, you can choose to send a confirmation by email — a branded HTML message with the appointment date, vehicle plate, jobcard reference, and call/WhatsApp/email CTA buttons. SMS confirmations work the same way and use one SMS credit per send.

Permissions

appointments.view, appointments.create, appointments.edit, appointments.delete. Technicians don't have any of these by default — the appointments tab on a jobcard is hidden from them. See Permissions reference.
